Since its inception in 1982 one of the aims of the Centre has been to improve the standard of training of young orthopaedic surgeons in the areas of Knee Surgery, Sports Surgery and Orthopaedics in general.
As part of this effort a Fellowship Training program was established in 1983. Since that time the program has gained an impressive national and international reputation for the quality of its training and has trained over 80 young surgeons from around the world.
