Dr Bruce Caldwell
Dr Bruce Caldwell specialises in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee, knee and hip replacement surgery.

Dr Caldwell grew up on Lake Macquarie near Newcastle. Following graduation from Sydney University in 1981 he spent his internship and resident years at RPA Hospital, Sydney. He commenced Orthopaedic training in 1987 and following graduation in 1991 he commenced sub-specialty training as a Fellow in Knee surgery with Dr Mervyn Cross and Dr Leo Pinczewski at The Centre. Following a Fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery with Dr Mark Myerson in Baltimore he commenced practice in 1991.

Dr Caldwell has a particular interest in knee surgery, sports medicine and trauma. He is involved in research into Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction and has undertaken over 4000 such procedures. He was also the Medical Venue Manager for Weightlifting for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
