Dr Jock Anderson
Jock (I.F.) Anderson has had a long association with sports medicine imaging, being the founder of the 'Sports Imaging' radiology practice at Crows Nest in the mid 1980's. Jock developed a close relationship with the Australian College of Sports Physicians and was awarded an Honorary Fellowship of this college in 1998.
Jock was Director of Medical Imaging at the Sydney 2000 Olympics and in the same year was awarded the Australian Sports Medal. In 2002, he attended the Winter Olympics at Salt Lake City as a consultant and in 2003 was appointed Co-ordinator of Medical Imaging for the Rugby World Cup.
Jock is Associate Professor in the Sports Medicine Program at UNSW, and has been the principle author of two texts on sports medicine imaging, and a coauthor of a third book.
