Dr Mervyn Cross
Dr Mervyn Cross specialises in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the knee. He has particular interests in anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and total knee replacement.

Dr Mervyn Cross graduated from Sydney University Medical School in 1965. Following intern and resident years at St Vincent's Hospital, he completed orthopaedic training in 1972. He then commenced a Fellowship in Sports Medicine at Tulane University, Louisiana followed by a Fellowship in Knee Surgery at the Hughston Clinic in Georgia. He commenced practice in 1974.

Since that time Dr Cross has built up an unequalled reputation for excellence in knee surgery, particularly in knee reconstruction and knee replacement. He has numerous clinical publications to his credit and has been a leader in the development of fellowship programs and orthopaedic training.
