LARS Ligament and ACL Reconstruction
There has recently been considerable interest in the use of the LARS ligament for reconstruction of the Anterior Cruciate ligament (ACL) in Australia. The knee surgeons of North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre have arguably performed the largest volume of ACL reconstructions of any practice in Australia. It was considered appropriate to summarise their collective experience, current opinion and the literature regarding the use of this ligament.
